Igraine, you were raped by a guy who impersonated your husband. Surely, you can't be THAT shocked his daughter could morph into a body resembling yours? However, I guess given that you were raped, beaten and held prisoner for several days I'll give you a pass. Still fake Igraine shouldn't have me rooting for her. Goes to just how good Eva Green was: her badassery as Morgana forced Claire Forlani to step it up a notch. Too bad, she couldn't have stepped it up for real Igraine as well.

"These lands are under King Arthur's protection." "We'll make a knight of you yet." Um. Arthur never interacts with anybody outside his inner circle, and I doubt one justice case would make the people of the land fall for him. This show suffers from too much telling and too little showing (and what they do "show" has no relevance to Arthur as noble king).

Well, I have to hand it Tamsin Egerton. Even though I haven't sympathized with Gwen in a long while, she really made me feel for her when she confessed. I think she really did love Leontes and was truly faithful to him aside from sleeping with Arthur that one time. I blame Arthur for making her feel conflicted about her feelings (well, Arthur is always in her face every minute).

Merlin, punching Arthur down was way overdue. As was the speech about the realm mattering more than personal affairs. I'm too distracted by the kid in the window though making me LOL at his attempt to get access to Arthur.

Morgan DOES know her family well, which is probably why her airing of all of Camelot's dirty secrets is amusing, rather than evil, to me. While she's certainly an anti-heroine, she's consistant in her values and application of them. Arthur....not so much. He's the politician who gives off a lots of hot air but no substance. A very inconsistant person.

Gwen, what the hell. Just what the hell. Stupidity of an epic degree there.

Ha ha ha! Kay pissed off and Gawain getting Arthur a disdainful look. Priceless! Arthur's lack of character growth arc finally paid off too because of Kay's speech. AWESOME! (Except I won't include Jamie's wooden acting. That is unexcusable, no matter what the story arc.

The women's costumes and hair are amazing this episode!

Much as I dislike gruesome battle scenes, watching it, I realize it's what the series has been missing for far too long. It's been too focused on the intellectual rather than the physical wars between Morgan vs. Arthur's side.

The show will NOT convince me that Morgan has to trick and connive everybody to get them to follow her. She's the king's daughter. That alone guarantees her a loyal band of followers from all over the countryside. Another flaw for the show: the villagers are all protrayed as easily tricked or already under Arthur's wing. (The flaw has existed over the whole series. I just never noticed it until now.)

Arthur torturing the opposition. How very noble of him. Very Morganesque of him. But of course, he's doing it for honor and she's doing it for her own gain. Psssh. And I don't believe he would be able to make all those clever traps in the amount of time he had.

I don't believe Arthur's sword-fighting lessons from Gawain gave him enough experience to be able to outwit and out-swordfight and out-arrow every man on his own.

Thank goodness the knights came back because Arthur's one-man show was getting to be too much.

AHHHHHHHHHHH! What a cruel way to kill Leontes! NOOOOOO! I knew it was coming (I read spoilers) but so painful to watch! BWHAH! This is sad! I love Leontes! And he's dead! I feel the tears coming. (This series doesn't deserve tears but poor Leontes does. He didn't need to die! Gah! My emotions!)

Igraine, don't die! I believe what she said too. She's too...motherly. Misguided, but motherly.

The bastards killed Igraine!

Way to ruin the nun by turning her into a "I thought that she would come" sob story. That doesn't fit the nun who has been helping Morgan the entire series. I'm glad the series got cancelled if this is what I'm being delivered the last episode.

And I'm supposed to believe that being stripped of Pendragon would send Morgan into a helpless heap on the floor? I want to read into it that she's regretting killing Igraine, but that's more due to Eva Green's acting rather than the writers, who have always exhibited a lack of grey where Morgan's characterization is concerned.

Damn this show is following through on all the "last episode of the season" sterotypes what with the deaths, Morgan disgraced temporarily, and Merlin departing (of course he would return next season) and the building of the table (methinks it would have been converted into a round table next season).

UGH! Way to rape Leontes' memory! He's barely in the grave and Arthur and Gwen are having sex. THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME ROOT FOR YOU! Another point for thank god this show was cancelled!

Well. Ok. Maybe not. That was....gross. Ewwww. That was very gross. I humbly apologize to Gwen for trashing her character. (No wonder L didn't believe she was sincere if I can this easily believe she would go straight to Arthur.) And Morgan...just yuck. Clever, but yucky. That baby is going to be scarier than Bella and Edward's vampire thing.

And that ends the show. Well, it certainly went out with a bang. I can't say I'm interested in buying it, but I don't regret watching it. The scenery porn is still the best. And the costumes. But the storylines were meh, underdeveloped and this "edgy" series spent too much time doing the same old-same old. But Eva Green, Joseph Fiennes and Peter Mooney were all wonderful. And I'm glad it got Tamsin more recognition. I don't think I'll be watching it in a long time though. I'll probably check it out again once I forget just how dreecky it was.

Okay this summed up the season pretty well :) I don`t regret watching it either and even if it wasn`t the best show it certainly did good things for Eva Green and her fantastic performance. I think she captured the essence of Morgan Le Fey perfectly and did the role justice compared to Katie McGrath in Merlin.

Tamsin is too modely for such roles but she can act pretty well. I think she shined in those last few eps.

Ugh I just fell in love with Peter Mooney.

You mentioned everything but not the score?
I thought the music was fabulous! It`s even better than the Game of Thrones score.

Oh and I liked the actor who played Leontes as well ;)
