Mid-June and I'm feeling the heat...

1. Today is a bad day. Everything that can go wrong is. Ugh! I wanted to buy new skirts from Land's End but they had none in my size, and one cute one that I liked was only available in regular. I sent a customer complaint. I hate being petite! I love fashion but loathe how that world thinks only tall, skinny women wear clothing.

2. My wireless is being wonky today. I have no idea why. It's not rainy or windy (usually when it tends to act up).

3. On the upside, I have been getting out more. At the Dance N Style, I went out with a group of ladies for drinks about 2 Fridays ago. It hasn't been since college that I went out for drinks (usually I have wine at home) so it was unusual but nice. 2 days after that I also went out to lunch with one of the ladies. They are all 20+ years older than me, but I'm getting used to having friends WAY out of my age range. (I'm 28.)

4. I cut my hair. It's very short and very low maintenance, which I like. Very easy to maintain.

5. I moved up the date on my New Year's Resolutions since half the year is done. You can see what I have and have not accomplished so far. I still have yet to open WMM and make a video. I'm starting to get the itch though! I also haven't watched a movie in 3 weeks, so I need to get back into the habit of doing that. But I'm almost halfway for books, so I'm doing good where that is concerned!

6. Tumblr has become my mindless addiction. My escape from the world. This is still my preferred site, over Facebook, to talk to people, but lately I've been one of those "don't want to confide anything because my life sucks for frivolous reasons" moods. Also, most of the places I'm on here are GG-related. I know I won't be watching the show next season, but I have to figure out other interests I have in common with my GG friends. (Plus, I'm still depressed about how Dair ended. And Chuck! Can someone kill him already? Ed wants off the show, so it can't be that hard.)

End of updates. Off to do the dishes.

Be glad you are spoiled. Except for the Juliet arc and Dair, this season was made of suck. And the Gary Suing of Chuck Bass reached all new levels of gagworthy. (And one can tell Ed is tired of playing "angsty emo boy with Daddy Issues trying to live up to Bass Industry's legacy" because he didn't even TRY to act the second half of the season. He gives Blake a run for the money in the phoning-it-in acting department.)

I love seeing what you post on tumblr. It seems there are always 1-3 pics per day I reblog from you.

Although I'm bit weird about tumblr. I know it's supposed to be random, scrapbooky and creative, but I like my own blog to have cohesive fluidity and order to it (although I may be the only one who sees how the posts all subtlely connect and change topic). I also use the 'like' button primarily for storage: posts I'll probably reblog later (once I check my blog to make sure I don't have pic/picspam/gif already). I seldom use it as a 'like' button. My biggest annoyance with tumblr right now is that I can't figure out how to add the tag cloud to my blog, even though I found an app for it on the site.

I love seeing what you post on tumblr. It seems there are always 1-3 pics per day I reblog from you. aw thanks :) Right now 90% of my reblogs are Game of Thrones related coz I`m obsessed with that show lol but that should reduce once the season ends ;)

I do that all the time! I`m not too fond of the like button either but most of the time I use it for reblogging stuff later as well. I do try and avoid posting too much of one thing at the same time so it`s nice to keep track of interesting posts in the 'like' area and space them out when reblogging ;)

Yes, you have perked my interest in GoT because you have posted stuff about it on tumblr. Since it's on a premium channel that I don't get, I'll have wait for online leaks or the dvd season 1 release to check it out.

LOL and same here! I'm always worried I'll annoy people by reposting too much of one person, movie, etc. So I try to make it a variety too. I've only lost 1 follower though since I'm been tumblr so I don't think I'm being too annoying. (Although I'm sure everybody who follows me will be glad when I find something other than Chalet Girl to obsess about. :D)

I've also discovered I have to browse my archive every now and again to insure I haven't accidentally reblogged the same pic/similar pic twice or more. (If I have, I delete the smaller size/lower quality version.) (I think it happens because I've noticed the same pictures get uploaded on tumblr and reblogged over and over and over and over again. Like, one would think there are only 10 pics of Ed Westwick in existance becauase they keep popping on his tag. Same goes for other topics.)
